Our Four
CORE VALUES

Child-Led Growth

We honor each child’s pace, perspective, and voice while encouraging confidence and independence.

Interest-Based Learning

Children learn deeply when curiosity leads through questions, interests, and discovery.

Community-Centered

Parents, mentors, and children grow together through shared experiences and connection.

Real-World Discovery

Learning comes alive through nature study, science investigations, and hands-on exploration.

Where Nature Leads Learning in the Wild

Not a Classroom Moved Outdoors

Discovery Junction begins with intentional curriculum, but nature often leads the lesson. When children discover animal tracks, insects, mushrooms, nesting birds, blooming plants, or something unexpected along the trail, we pause, investigate, ask questions, and learn from what is right in front of us.

Learning Through Real Exploration

Children experience the lesson outdoors instead of only reading about it.
They climb, splash, dig, observe, collect, investigate, and explore with all of their senses.
Real discoveries become part of the day’s learning, even when they were not in the original plan.

Designed for Homeschool Families

Curriculum, materials, tools, and locations are thoughtfully planned for you.
Parents stay present while sharing meaningful outdoor experiences with their children.
Each gathering blends science, nature, friendship, movement, and adventure into one memorable day.

The curriculum is planned, but the learning is alive.

"We look forward to Friday every week because of this wonderful co-op. Amber sets up wonderful lessons with stations that the children get very hands on with. We are outside together enjoying nature and learning. If you are looking for nature based co-op this is the one for you!"

"Discovery Junction Co-op has become the highlight of my kids week! The lessons are educational, but not overwhelming and great for kids of all ages. My kids love getting outside, hiking, and exploring! Every week they count down the days until next co-op day!"

"Both of my sons enjoy the interactive learning that Amber offers through nature based exploration of different locations each week throughout the Treasure Coast. Her activities are detailed but also cater to multiple age groups at the same time. She has built a lovely community of like-minded families."
